Completed in December 2025 and set in the quiet Kamishiro forest just 30 seconds walk from the Hakuba 47 and Goryu resort shuttle stop, Silver Peak is the newest and most architecturally distinctive property in the Valley Chalets portfolio. Vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a designer kitchen in striking olive green announce a chalet that takes its design seriously — without taking itself too seriously. It sleeps up to six guests across three bedrooms, and comes with a complimentary 4WD vehicle for guests to explore the valley at their leisure.
What genuinely sets Silver Peak apart is the ofuro. Tucked into the ground floor, this deep Japanese stone soaking bath is authentic in every sense — not a hotel afterthought, but a centrepiece of the experience. After a long day on the mountain, it is exactly where you want to be.
Ascend to the upper floor and the chalet opens up completely. The open-plan living and dining area is flooded with natural light by day and frames a magical snow-laden forest at night. Cook in a fully appointed Miele kitchen, sink into the plush sofa with Netflix on the 65" Sony, or fill the room with the Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin. This is where powder days become great memories.
Silver Peak comes with a complimentary 4WD vehicle (available between Dec 14th and March 8th for stay of 5 nights or longer) for the duration of your stay, giving guests the freedom to explore all ten of Hakuba's resorts without the hassle of separate car hire. Drivers must hold a valid IDP or, for eligible countries, a Japanese translation of their home licence.
